In addition to all-premium seating and high-spec projection equipment, theatrical sound equipment has been supervised by Ryuichi Sakamoto. 109CINEMAS PREMIUM SHINJUKU offers premium hospitaltity and a viewing environment enabling an immersive experience into extraordinary worlds.
Furthermore, all theaters are multipurpose and equipped with a stage in front of the screen, as well as lighting, audio and broadcast equipment in order to accommodate diverse performances, which allows for the provision of entertainment content going beyond that of just films.
SOUND
The sound system of this movie theater has been consulted by Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Retaining the excellence of the original premium sound theater "SAION," the new audio system, "SAION -SR EDITION-," created under the direction of Mr. Sakamoto, pursues an even more super-real sound. Installed in all theaters.
In addition, Ryuichi Sakamoto composed several of the musical works playing within the theaters, realizing a sense-opening auditory experience that can only be found here.

Theater 6 contains "ScreenX", a three-sided wide view theater, which, in addition to the front screen, enables images to be projected onto the left and right walls.The world of movies and live performances will spread out before your eyes.
